Abhinav wins the gold medal for India in Beijing.India wins an olympic gold medal after 28 years.India got gold medal in hockey last time.Ironically this is the first time Indian hockey team is not in the Olympics.This is the first time India is winning gold medal in an Individual item.His achievement will defnitely provide inspiration to saina,who moved into the quarter finals of badminton and anoop sreedhar who is in the second round of badminton.After a dull start,Indians have got something which they can be proud of even for the years to come.

possibly a message to milkha sigh who told there is no hope for even a single medal in BEIJING
