Is Democracy is too old to be suceeded by his son?

Is Democracy a success? How many can say a definite yes?or we can make it bear fruit by some 'eccentric modification'.
During a bus journey I thought about a modification,of course eccentric.
I compared our country to a Bus with Finance minister as conductor,Prime minister as Driver and cleaner as defense minister.
Prime minister is obviously the Driver.Finance minister is conductor because he collects revenue by tax and Defense minister wont allow unsolicited Intruders.

But in a Bus nothing leaks through conductor and all money reaches the owner.owner distributes the money.

That upper level is missing in our current system and we have only drivers and conductors and no one to ask where the collected money has gone.

I suggest some autocratic person above our elected representatives.

Or an Autocratic Group to make the representatives move in correct path when they are not doing so.

Group can consist of a Business leader(company which makes the maximum profit in that year),Retired Chief Justice,an Environmentalist etc.

This group should be able to control the representatives autocratically.

Democracy can be sustained by giving people the power to choose the representatives.

So When the Bus owner comes into picture,Can it produce result?...

Work harder...Earn lesser...Indian salary formula

Every body has a story to tell. Even the security person of our apartment. When we first came here he was just asking us about our package and when we told him the exact amount, which took him to his past. He blamed himself for not completing his study .Then he said he couldn’t understand anything because teacher was speaking in English.
Are we getting salary according to our Educational Qualification? Is not that the reason why no productivity is happening here? We simply work on something from the foreign countries? We cannot build anything on our own. After Education, its all over for us. My friends here too, when they see me studying, are asking “Now that we got job and getting salary, why are you working hard?”I don’t know how to answer. We can’t blame anyone for this but the system that makes us believe a degree or PG is more than enough for the success of a person.
We should look beyond that because we are able. Indians are very good intellectually and our space technology is more than enough to prove that. We should inculcate in every person, a feeling and an urge to work from his school days itself.
Another side, Lower primary teacher is getting only 1/5th of the salary of a college lecturer. In college lecturers may not even come to class, but primary school teacher has to work really hard to make students understand.
Simply hiking the salary is not good, but we should be more focused on pooling the talent in that section.(People who are good at shaping students right at the start of their life). More than just teaching to write and read, he should inject confidence and self belief. He should make students understand about themselves that will help him to choose his career in future.
Bottom line is that we have talents, but they are scattered. So a restructuring is necessary starting from a new base. So our Primary Education system needs a Repair work, in fact a Rebuilding.

Orissa....nice but food???

We went on a tour this week. we were 23 people including some Tamilnadu,Andhra people in addition to malayalees.we started at 4 ‘o clock in the morning and we went to a beach to see the sun rise. we reached there at 6 am and waited for another 30 minutes for the sun to come. That was really a beautiful scene watching from the sea shore.
Then we went to the famous konark sun temple. That was more than a piece of art. It is not a temple and it is not a worship place. A king was on his mission to make it a complete worship place but failed to complete it because of some war. Despite that it is a place to have a look and its more than good than many other completed structures.
Chilka Lake was the next destination. In social studies classes I had studied it is the biggest fresh water lake in India. We had boating there for 3 hours and it was a very nice experience. We saw many dolphins over there and people who drove the boat made some special sound to make it appear. We saw dark and grey dolphins.
In between we reached an island and that was the place where the lake and Bay of Bengal met. We saw the dead remains of some tortoise and lot of living and moving crabs.
After that we came back and had our lunch at 5 pm!!!!.That was a lunch I would like to forget. I had told many people that food is not that bad in Orissa. But I saw the real Orissa there. Fish smell all over and they served all curries with the same spoon!!!!May be because of TCS,we are getting an at least OK food where we live.
Then we went to Puri jagannath temple. It’s really a huge temple and a place worth watching. Nice works all over and beared some resemblance to konark temple except for the fact that it was really huge.
Leather belt, purse, mobile phone and chapels were not allowed inside.
Then we went back and reached our place by 12 am and woke up next day at 11.30 am and it was really a tiring day and slept almost the whole day.
