Who is the father of Invention?

In miss kerala 2008 it was asked as a common question,"If necessity is the mother of invention who is the father?"

Winner sreethulasi wrote it as Intelligence.

From my thinking I got the answer as Innovation.World has reached a saturation point and here on we need innovation above intelligence to have more inventions.

Necessity will always be there for new and new things which make life more comfortable.

In the past, Ideas were open that you were supposed to have only the intelligence to implement them.

But now that most of the ideas are implemented ,you need to be innovative to improvise the existing ideas to create more Comfort.

For example,a TV set ,when it was first implemented idea was to transmit and receive some picture information and implemented it without any innovations.But now a lot of innovations are coming into play like Flat screen TVs,Digital transmission,Video on demand etc.

so "NECESSITY AND INNOVATION GIVES BIRTH TO COMFORT"
