A Goat with out a bell

During our first days in college we went on a fund raising scheme.We went as a group on a sunday to ensure people will be there in their homes and will give us some sound economic support.Actually program,national level technical symposium called QUINTESSENCE,is being organised by seniors and we were asked to go for this.Our group included me,Anoop M K,kalavi(vineeth K V),Niju,Neetha and Tressy.

So we were moving ahead nicely from one home to another hearing some nice abuses and getting some coins..(to indicate Rs.1 to Rs.5).And we were so keen not to cause any discomfort to them other than asking the money.With that in mind we reached at the gate of a particular house.After looking each other for sometime(about who would open it)one of us opened the gate and something ran towards us from their courtyard.And in a very short time it ran some distance from there.Actually we were so happy that it was not a dog(for a moment we thought it was) and it ran away and only to think after 1 minute and realise that it was a goat and every possiblity that it was being brought up by those people.

So,now we cant ask for money and now in a situation that we should pay some money to them as a compensation for goat.We looked in the direction in which the goat ran and at some distance it was standing chewing something and I felt it was smiling at us seeing our situation.

So boys from our group decided to catch it and give it back.We surrounded it from 4 directions and it was professsional enough to escape from our amateuristic way of catching.After 30 minutes of hard work,we somehow managed to catch it.Fortunately (or unfortunately)people inside didnt see any of these.They might have been watching some sunday programs in TV.

We were a little proud too about our achievement and hoped that they would give some extra for our effort when we narrate it.

Then came a person by that way and seeing us with it he told us"vallya upakaram kuttikale,eth vazhi thendi thirinju nadanna aadanu,ella veetilum kayari bayankara shalyama,ningal pidichathu nannayi,ini kondu poykko,evideyonnum vittekalle"

We sat there with disbelief and started blaming each other and one of the sentences I remember
"eda,veetil valarthunna aadanenkil athinte kazhuthil mani kanille?"
